Chapter 6 (Please Teach Me Tutor)

Episode 6: 15 Millions Won Bet

After learning Mana Circulation from a strange teacher, named Kim Si-woo, Yu Ah-ra felt that, strangely her body become lighter.

“That’s strange.”

Not only did her eyes open brightly in the morning, but the fatigue she always carried on her shoulders seemed to have been washed away.

‘Was it because of the Mana Rotation?’
Although the teacher was a pervert, he certainly seemed to have some skills.

“Oh, right. I almost forgot”, as soon as she got up from her bed, she laid several newspapers on the floor, sat cross-legged, and circulated her mana as she had learned.
To be exact, it was not she who was turning it, but the mana of the ‘pervert’ teacher that remained in her body that was moving.

“Haa, haa.”

The heat she felt when she first spun mana stimulated her entire body. Tingling.

Yu Ah-ra unconsciously flinched at the strangely good sensation.
‘Is this, a side effect?’
When she first circulated the mana.

Perhaps because of the special circumstances, when she closed her eyes and focused on the mana circulation, she felt as if she had taken off her clothes. It felt like she was circulating mana while sitting cross-legged in the nude.

After about an hour of mana circulation, her whole body was covered in sweat.
After feeling the strange sensation of her heart pounding, and her skin tickling for about an hour, her lower body would become wet and excited.
‘It’s strange.’
She wasn’t the type to feel this well originally. Yu Ah-ra was so ignorant and uninterested in sex that she only masturbated once a month.
But when she did mana Circulation!

Her lower body would throb crazily. She felt embarrassed because it felt like the teacher was staring at her naked body.
She felt eyes on her even though she knew it wasn’t there.

‘No, it felt like he was touching my entire body with his fingers.’
Yu Ah-ra definitely didn’t like the feeling, but she couldn’t stop thinking about it when it was time to finish circulation of mana.

But the good news is.

“Ugh, it smells.”

Whenever she finishes mana circulation, there is always a pungent smell that stings nose.
The stench was so bad that it made the excitement she felt while circulating mana just a moment ago vanishes, and she unconsciously pinched her nose.

The newspapers that had been laid out in advance were soaked with an unknown liquid.

The teacher said that this was the waste accumulated in body.
According to Teacher Si-woo, the teacher’s mana was burning the waste accumulated in Ah-ra’s body and reconstructing body.
On the day of the weekly test, that mana would burn most of the waste in body and fill up with her own mana.

‘No way.’

‘Would something like that happen?’
‘If with just circulating mana for few times would help someone in accumulating and absorbing mana, then the world will be filled with mana for all the awakened people…’

[You felt pure mana for first time.]
[Mana stat increases.]
[Mana: C -> B]

“Huh, huh?”

Yu Ah-ra just witnessed her own growth. Although it is not yet tangible, the system has never lied.

“I leveled up? With just single mana rotation?”

“Is this really possible?” even though Yu Ah-ra was ignorant of mana rotation, she had studied about it.

In order to increase mana level, one need to continuously feel mana in a place full of mana for at least several weeks. If the said person doesn’t have talent, then mana won’t increase even after several months.

‘It’s so easy.’

“Is he a truly that capable?”

Yu Ah-ra’s faith in her private tutor blossomed a little. But that was only for a moment.

“Oh, let’s get ready quickly. Today is the weekly test.”

Today was the day Yu Ah-ra had made bet with my private tutor about her grades.

‘Failure is something that must be avoided at all costs.’

Although she was tempted by the 15 million won Si-woo had bet, she had no intention of deliberately failing the exam to get it.
The important thing for her is, whether she could survive in this academy.

Yu Ah-ra left the studio apartment she had in a hurry.

[Hunter Replica – Estimated Grade: B-~B+]
[Excellent storage condition. Contrary to its appearance, its defense power is quite good.]

“This armor is B-grade. If you look at it positively, it’s armor that could be up to B+ grade.”
“What? Check again. It can’t be B-grade! That person said that it’s definitely A+ grade armor!”

Today, Jin-sang1 came again. They feel themselves entitled. Thinking whatever they bring is worth fortune.
Just like them, he was someone, who had been scammed somewhere. He had been given wrong information by a poor appraiser, and had unfounded beliefs about this item.
It’s bit annoying to deal with such people, but the solution was simple.

“Guard! Please handle him.”
“What? Handle him? Did you just tell them to handle me?”

Our friendly guards will take care of it.

“Okay, calm down, our appraisal reliability is 99.999%. We will cross-check for any possible errors, so please come here……” Guard tried to talk with the man.
“Stop talking nonsense and give us a proper appraisal!” despite being surrounded by guards, the evil hunter insisted on Re-Appraisal.
And….

“You fucking fake Appraiser!”

The guy showed his power. Mana swept through him; he threw two guards against the wall.
There were cuts here and there on their body, as if, they had been cut by a sharp blade.
But they weren’t seriously injured, it looked like they needed first aid, but that’s it.

Wheeing!

The other guards that will come soon for him, but the problem is this guy.

“Hey, appraiser. You’d better appraise it properly this time. Otherwise, this wind blade will cut off your head.”
“Is that a threat?”
“Do you think I’m asking that in a nice way?”

This is a big deal.
This is really a big deal.

“My life is being threatened right now?”
“Is this person joking?”
“Doesn’t that mean I can use self-defense clause?”

Kim Si-woo said it so everyone could hear.

“What the hell is this bastard talking about?”
“Wait! I’m recording evidence.”
“What?”
“This is self-defense.”

Kim Si-woo grabbed the bastard by neck in an instant.

“Kekekeke!”
“It looks like wind magic, but it seems like you are the type that fights using sound waves? The type that gets stronger the louder you shout, right?”
“Uh, how… is that…?”
“I can see it all.”

In that brief moment when the bastard screamed, Kim Si-woo saw blades of sonic waves bursting out of his mouth, slicing through the guard’s body.

Being able to react calmly in all situations. And the ability to ‘see’ everything in a split second.
Kim Si-woo guessed that this was the ability that the charisma stat gave.

“Is it really that scary? When our customer does this, my hands and feet starts shaking.”

And then Si-woo smacked the bastard in the jaw. At the same time, the guards rushed in and caught the guy.

“Are you okay?”
“I was so scared I thought I would die. Take me.”

Jin-sang left alone.

“Oh, it’s the real deal again. What’s going on this time?”
“Someone who thinks that the stuff will have a higher valuation.”
“You’ve encountered the annoying type”, the team leader, who was sipping his coffee, looked at Si-woo.

“Oh, by the way, there’s a company dinner after work today. Are you going to attend?”
“I’m sorry, but there’s something urgent, so I have leave work on time.”

And today Kim Si-woo had an important appointment. A promise to confirm whether Yu Ah-ra really has the potential to be S-class.

After the first lesson, there was one more lesson.
The class was simple.
All it took was to inject a little more mana into her body to give her more power in mana rotation.

After three days, Kim Si-woo gave Yu Ah-ra the task of feeling mana and circulating it on her own. Surprisingly, she managed to achieve that.
She couldn’t use it on her own for now, but it was an amazing development.

‘It wasn’t for nothing that the adaptation level was S.’

Yu Ah-ra, she definitely had talent. The problem was that she didn’t know she had it.

So Kim Si-woo injected more mana into her body than expected. The process was the same.
She sat cross-legged with her clothes off and directed the mana.

Yu Ah-ra still embarrassed about taking her clothes off, but she didn’t go wild like a crazy woman. Of course, that’s what a person with learning ability should do.

The second lesson also ended with just mana circulation.
Maybe Yu Ah-ra was dissatisfied, because it didn’t feel like Si-woo was teaching her any fighting techniques.

So, Kim Si-woo successfully completed the second class.

If she could just increase the amount of mana, she could put out exam in fire. The reason she failed the practical test was probably because her telekinesis was weakened. If she could just increase the maximum amount of mana, there wouldn’t be a problem.

‘It’s a problem that can be solved simply.’

Of course, solving that amount of mana was nearly impossible for ordinary people.

“I hope you are doing well.”

‘I don’t want to lose 15 million won for nothing’, Kim Si-woo hoped. When, he was interrupted, “Si-woo, do you have a girlfriend?”
“Yes?”
“No, leaving work on time is like that, and if you don’t have a girlfriend, it’s out of the question.”

“What about a girlfriend? I’m too busy taking care of myself.”
“Really? But this seems like you found a girlfriend…….”

Kim Si-woo headed to the break room, leaving behind the team leader who couldn’t give up his obsession until the end.

“Where are you going?”
“I’m going to take a quick break from something shocking. If I don’t rest now, I don’t think I’ll be able to work today.”

Let’s get some rest. His head started to hurt.

***

Weekly evaluation.
It was a test that judged how much they had grown through simple simulations and simple ability tests.
In fact, it was a test that was done every week in the first year to get them used to the test. And this test was a weekly test that was held three weeks before the regular test.
Most of the current scores were applied to the regular test.

And now, Yu Ah-ra.
“Oh, is it really true?”
She stared blankly at the huge rock she had levitated, her hand outstretched.

Thud!

“Record, the output of telekinesis is 120Pa.”

“Just looking at the numbers, the output is similar to Class A telekinesis.”

Crunch, rustle.

“Yu Ah-ra, you’ve grown a lot.”
For the first time, she received praise from her professor.

“Yu Ah-ra, your weekly assessment ability test is an A.”
“A? You’re giving me an A?”
An A was the highest grade awarded by the Academy.

“If it was the first evaluation, I would have given you an S. But the weekly evaluation is an A, so satisfied with this.”

This was the first time in Yu Ah-ra’s life that she had gotten such good grades. It was so good that it was a shame that it was a weekly evaluation.
‘That’s ridiculous.’
She repeated to herself, pinching her cheek to check if it was a dream or reality.

“It hurts…….”

It was real. She got an A on the weekly evaluation.

“It was a grade worthy of an A by the standards of students preparing for the first regular exam.”
“Thank you!”
“In the simulation, you got a B for judgment and a C for basic physical strength… If you keep this up, you might just pass the first regular exam.”
“Yes, I’ll work hard!”
“Yes. I hope you maintain the skills you’ve developed so far. I’ve seen a lot of kids who did well during the weekly evaluations but then failed during the actual exam.”

Hearing the professor’s gentle praise, Yu Ah-ra was able to smile for the first time after finishing a test.

“Yu Ah-ra, you passed the weekly evaluation!”

As Yu Ah-ra received her report card, the image of her perverted private tutor came to mind.

‘Come to think of it, I didn’t asked his name.’

When Yu Ah-ra returned home and took classes, she thought she should ask for his name first.

Note:

Jin-sang: Rude person. Someone behaving obnoxious or embarrassing way, especially in public.

Si-woo promoted from pervert to teacher in disciple’s heart.
